The actual magnet is powered by a server side J2EE interface [servlet] -- that reads XML feeds provided by the WeatherChannel. The servlet parses and redistributes the information to users through the browser via a Java Applet. The use of the applet front-end bypasses timely page refreshings.

This tool provides on-the-fly weather information for any city in the world. Its uses are immeasurable.
